Examples of Essential Procedure Tech / Surgical Tech Duties:
•Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
•Assisting the Physician during procedures, manipulating C-Arm to ensure good placement and imaging.
•Taking pictures during procedures and uploading images into medical records for storage.
•Ordering and stocking the procedure room with supplies.
Additional Medical Assistant duties:
•Assisting Doctor with patient care
•Escorting patients to exam room.
•Preparing exam rooms.
•Preparing patient for Doctor (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).
•Administering injections.
•At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.
•Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
•Ordering and maintaining exam room supplies and instruments.
•Following up with lab work and/or xrays.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Applicant must have compassion, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, reliable transportation and be highly dependable.

Southern Interventional Pain Center in Thomasville, Georgia, and Lake City and Tallahassee, Florida, is a pain management practice that provides comprehensive pain care for patients. Max Shokat, DO, and their board-certified physicians specialize in the non-operative treatment for the spine, joints, muscles, and nerve pain, performing all procedures at the practice.
